An intriguing sensory experience, a crunchy red flake that goes perfectly with dark chocolate. The crusco pepper is typical of Lucan cuisine, it is a sweet red pepper that is dried and fried for a few seconds in oil: the temperature range causes the vegetable to become “crusco”, which is crunchy. An ancient tradition that history dates back to the Arabs who imported the Crusco pepper between the 11th and 14th centuries, in a land where east and west meet. Cultivated since 1600, once harvested it is inserted by hand forming necklaces which are then hung in front of the houses until completely dried. The chocolate is our Domori dark chocolate, a full, genuine, intense color and aroma. A superior quality chocolate, coming from specific plantations, selected to meet the quality standards of Domori.
